GovRight is an organization committed to increasing meaningful collaboration between citizens and government. We have a particular focus on legislation and the technology surrounding participation, an expertise built through years of activity in civil society, business, and academia in the United States, MENA region, and Eastern Europe.

GovRight is a US-based social enterprise with operations in Kyiv, Ukraine and Tangier, Morocco. Our organization has a truly international focus, made possible by strong, ongoing partnerships with local organizations. We provide expertise and technology to our partner organizations that support the partner’s existing mission and objectives of social progress. GovRight has had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of organizations, large and small, in a wide range of countries and contexts.

Tarik is following his passion for using technology for a better citizenry. He is the founder of the Moroccan-based ICT4Dev research center and technology startup “Software Centre”, as well as previously working at Microsoft Seattle and Beijing, and with the Red Cross in Iraq. Tarik is an Ashoka fellow and a TedX speaker.
