On April 27, 2016, Constitution Lab will hold its first webinar. The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. GMT. Constitution Lab is an open, online working group for researching, understanding, and innovating on citizen participation in constitution making.
The topic for this webinar is “An Exploration of Public Participation.” Each speaker will make a 10-minute presentation about their experiences with public participation from ideas that worked through concepts that failed as well as questions that remain unanswered. Discussions will cover both offline and online initiatives. A Q&A session will be moderated after the presentations.
The webinar will be moderated by Tarik Nesh-Nash of GovRight and there will be an esteemed group of speakers including:
– Jason Gluck – UNDP
– Sumit Bisarya – IDEA, Netherlands
– Marta Poblet – RMIT University, Australia
– Tanja Aitamurto – Stanford University
– Jaume Lopez – Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain
We are all looking forward to the first Constitution Lab webinar and the opportunity to work together to truly find practical ways to bring people into the legislative and constitution-making process.
Please feel free to contact Tarik for more details.
